Couple Injured in Gas Cylinder exploded in Pulwama

Srinagar: A couple sustained burn injuries after a gas cylinder exploded at their residence in Parigam area of South Kashmir Pulwama district, on tuesday evening.

Reports reaching the news agency JKNS said that a gas cylinder exploded in a house in Parigam, Pulwama, resulting in injuries to the occupants.

34-year-old woman, and her 32-year-old husband sustained injuries. Both were rushed to the district hospital in Pulwama.

The injured were later referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment. Their condition is stable, and they remain under medical observation, they added.

Meanwhile, cognizance of the incident has been taken, and further investigations are underway. (JKNS)
