Bandipora, Feb 16(JKNS):- Gurez Valley in Bandipora district experienced fresh snowfall late this evening, leading authorities to close the 85-kilometer Gurez-Bandipora road as a precautionary measure.

An official confirmed to the news agency JKNS that the road closure, explaining that the decision was made due to the fresh snowfall in the valley and particularly heavy snowfall at Razdhan Pass, a vital section of the route. The pass has been deemed unsafe for travel in the current conditions, making the closure necessary for public safety.
