The JK Samadhan Portal, a government initiative aimed at streamlining and simplifying grievance redressal processes, is designed to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficiency in addressing public complaints.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of timely and efficient registration of grievances, which can be accessed and resolved through the portal.

In her address, the DC highlighted the critical role of the portal in facilitating citizens’ access to government services and resolving disputes.

She urged all the concerned departments to ensure maximum outreach and participation in the portal’s registration process. CSC VLEs were directed to register maximum number of people under the portal who are unable to register themselves.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of registration in various tehsils and sub-divisions of the district, with a special focus on identifying areas where registration was lagging behind.

Meanwhile, timelines were fixed for different departments to ensure cent percent registration of the people.

The ADC Kupwara was designated as Nodal Officer for cent percent registration of all citizens on the Samadhan portal.
