Kishtwar : An orientation program was hosted here on Monday to update field functionaries about the registration procedure of citizens on the JK Samadhan Portal- an online public grievances redressal mechanism introduced by Jammu and Kashmir Government.
The session, presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pawan Kotwal, was attended by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Supervisors from across the district.
Addressing the officials, the ADC reiterated the administration’s commitment to ensuring transparent, responsive, and efficient governance. He highlighted that the JK-SAMADHAN portal, launched by the J&K Government, serves as a dedicated grievance redressal platform aimed at strengthening citizen participation and enhancing government accountability.
The program focused on educating participants about the functions of the portal, including grievance registration, redressal mechanism, public engagement and status tracking of grievances on the portal.
The ADC stressed the importance of the public grievance redressal mechanism and set a timeline to complete household registration on the portal.
The awareness session witnessed active participation from BLOs, Supervisors, and other concerned officials, who engaged in discussions to enhance their understanding of the portal’s operation.
