One Dead, another Injured in Ramban Road Accident

Ramban: One person died while another was injured after met with an accident near Mehar Petrol Pump, Ramban district on Thursday evening.

An official told news agency JKNS that, a pulsar motorcycle (JK19A 3200) collided with an i20 car (JK06B 5680) near a petrol pump in Mehad, Ramban, at around 6:20 PM. The car driver fled the scene.

In the accident one person namely Sandeep Singh, son of Youdhbir Singh, a resident of Gam Dakhi, died on the spot while another rider, Sandeep Singh, son of Kartar Singh, 24, from Suli Gam, was injured and shifted to District Hospital Ramban, he said.

Police cognizance of the incident has been taken, further investigation started. (JKNS)
