Doda: The Doordarshan(DD) Jammu team on Tuesday presented a Coffee Table Book to District Election Officer Harvinder Singh at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Doda.
Deputy Commissioner, who also serves as the District Election Officer, appreciated the efforts of DD Jammu for highlighting the importance of elections and voter awareness campaigns. He acknowledged that DD Jammu not only covers election-related events but also organises voter awareness programs in remote areas for the tribal community, playing a crucial role in promoting democratic participation.
The District Election Officer also praised the efforts of DD Jammu’s Deputy Director, under whose guidance the team has done a tremendous job in executing voter awareness initiatives and election coverage effectively.
