Another local, Irham Hamid, satisfied with the arrangements, said, “Today I will pray for the entire Muslim ummah, and I am happy to see all the arrangements in place.”

An official from the Waqf Board told JKNS, “Necessary arrangements will remain in place on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and including facilities for the Friday following prayers.”

Talking to media persons in Srinagar, RTO Kashmir Qazi Irfan, as per news agency JKNS, said, “Transport arrangements at all main stations are in place at Panthachowk, Parimpora, Lal Chowk, and Ganderbal.”

“SRTC, Smart Buses have been stationed at different stations for smooth transportation of people. Smart buses are also available,” he said.

Irfan further stated, “E-Rickshaws are also available with over 50 vehicles placed on both sides of Dargah Hazratbal. We will ensure transport is available throughout the nights, especially during early morning Fajr prayer and tomorrow as well, with Friday following.”

Moreover, traffic authorities issued an advisory to manage the influx of worshippers. A traffic department official told JKNS, “A road plan is in place to ensure smooth entry and exit at Hazratbal Shrine. Additional transport facilities have been arranged to facilitate the movement of devotees.” (JKNS)
