Jammu: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, who is also Additional Chief Executive Officer Jammu Metropolitan Region Development Authority, Ramesh Kumar on Monday reviewed the progress of the works/projects being executed in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts.
Deputy Commissioners Samba and Kathua, Vice Chairman Jammu Development Authority, Chief Engineer, SE and Xens of PWD (R&B) attended the meeting.
The Div Com took appraisal of the current status of the projects coming up in Vijaypur, Hiranagar and Transport Nagar Jammu.
It was informed that the final work of the projects, wherever remaining, shall be completed by March 15, 2025. The Divisional Commissioner directed the concerned officials to maintain quality standards in the execution of the overall works.
The Divisional Commissioner further directed to hand over the projects to the concerned authorities for its operations.
The Div Com also took stock of the progress made in the development of Transport Nagar Jammu and directed to expedite the work. He issued instructions to the concerned officials of the executing agency for completing all the works at the earliest while ensuring the quality standards.
