Kishtwar: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan reviewed the security aspects of upcoming hydroelectric power projects in the district, here at a meeting.
The meeting was attended by SSP Javaid Iqbal, senior officials and representatives of hydroelectric project authorities.
The SSP provided an overview of the current security arrangements and assured that adequate deployments are in place to ensure the safety of the projects and personnel.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasised that security and safety of these assets must remain the top priority. He directed all stakeholders to maintain constant vigil and coordination to prevent any untoward incidents and assure that no unauthorised person is allowed to enter the project sites.
Representatives from the hydroelectric power project authorities also apprised the Deputy Commissioner about various challenges and operational requirements. A detailed discussion was held to address these issues promptly to ensure smooth functioning and project timelines.
The Deputy Commissioner assured full support from the district administration and directed all concerned departments to resolve all pending issues in a time-bound manner. He said that all vehicles of the projects must have all required documents and not indulge into overloading /overspeed in any manner.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to foster seamless coordination among all stakeholders for the successful execution of these vital projects. The DC said that he will have regular such reviews.
