The legal charter given to the people under the ownership scheme is helping them and on the basis of this charter, it will help to raise the standard of living through loans from banks, he said.

Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the program online from Sahyadri Guest House.

If we want to reduce the poverty in the country, it is necessary for every citizen to have property rights. Despite the wealth of lakhs of people in the country, they were not getting value for it. Despite having their own house, some people were occupying it, he said.

Since 2014, we have been distributing property cards to the citizens of the country through drone survey. Prime Minister said that this will change people’s lives. Under Svamitav Yojana, this property card will reduce corruption in the country. Today 98 percent of land records have been computerized. Today, facilities such as toilets, Ujjwala gas, water supply, Ayushman, roads, internet, broadband along with common service centers have been provided. The facilities available in the city are now available in the village.

Prime Minister Modi said that the dream of a developed India will be fulfilled only if the poor in the country are empowered,he added.

Speaking on this occasion Chief Minister Fadnavis said that, Maharashtra state was included in the pilot project of the Pradhan Mantri Svamitav Yojana. Prime Minister Modi’s approach is “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”. The ownership plan has been designed keeping in mind that the development of rural areas is the basis of the country’s progress. More than 60 lakh families in the state will directly benefit from this scheme. This scheme is not limited to a government initiative, it is a radical change in the social, economic and administrative system of rural India. Uncertainty and disputes over land ownership in rural areas will be reduced. Many find it difficult to prove their legal title to land. This only increases court cases. Often the development process also stops. This problem will be solved by ownership plan, he said.

Through this scheme, the land in the villages is counted with the help of advanced drone technology and each person is given a legal certificate of their land ownership.

Fadnavis also said that this certificate is not only a proof of ownership but also a great opportunity for economic empowerment, he added.
