E-Rickshaw Fares Fixed at Rs.10/Km Per Vehicle not per person : Clarifies Transport Commissioner

Srinagar: Transport Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan clarified that e-rickshaw fares are fixed at Rs. 10 per kilometer per vehicle, not per passenger.

In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, Mahajan wrote, During the day while interacting with the media the rate of e rickshaw was elaborated.

I wld like to clarify that it is 10 rupees per Km per vehicle and not per passenger. I have asked the RTOs Jammu/Kashmir to further clarify and issue rate lists, reads the post.
