DC Shopian visits Sedow, discusses development of Forest Park

Shopian: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar on Friday visited the Sedow area to discuss the eco-development of Aharbal Angan Forestry Park with Forest Department officers.
Located opposite the breathtaking Aharbal waterfall on the Shopian side, the Forest Department Shopian on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner aims to showcase the area’s natural beauty while promoting eco-friendly practices.
The Forest Department will be establishing the park, ensuring that besides preserving the environment it will also provide a unique scenic experience for visitors travelling from Shopian towards the Fall.
By highlighting the stunning views of Aharbal waterfall, the park will become a must-visit destination for nature lovers and tourists alike.
This project aligns with the district administration’s efforts to promote sustainable tourism and environmental conservation in Shopian.
Among others, the DC was accompanied by ADDC, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone; ADC, Dr.Zakir Hussain Faaz; ACR, DFO and other officers and officials.
