Distt admin Shopian provides immediate relief to Saidpora fire victims

Rs 20k Financial Relief Provided To Fire Victim, Essentials Also Given

Shopian: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar on Monday visited Saidpora Village of the district to sympathize with the fire victims and extend immediate relief.
The DC provided Rs 20000 as immediate financial relief to one fire victim who suffered damages to the residential house and cowshed, due to the fire and directed Tehsildar Shopian to provide immediate relief including required essentials.
The Tehsildar Shopian intimated that some essentials including ration, utensils and bedding was provided to the residential house owner.
The DC said that financial assistance as per SDRF norms shall also be processed immediately and financial assistance will be provided immediately to all three victi
The other two victims suffered damages to cowsheds.
ADDC, Dr Nasir Ahmad Lone; ADC, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz; SP, Javid Ahmad and Tehsildar and other officers & officials were also present on the occasion.
