DC B’pora reviews preparations for Republic Day-2025 celebrations

Bandipora : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, on Saturday visited S.K. Stadium Bandipora to review the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations.
During the visit, the DC held a comprehensive review of the arrangements made by various departments. Officials from the concerned departments briefed the DC about the progress and the measures implemented so far to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
Qadri emphasized the need for prompt and efficient preparations, urging all concerned to complete their respective tasks well ahead of the event. He stressed the importance of meticulous planning to ensure the success of the Republic Day celebrations and to ensure comfort and safety of all attendees. The DC also directed the concerned departments to ensure that all arrangements are in place, including security, seating, illumination, and other logistical aspects, well before the event. The DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Zaffar Husson Shawl, Tehsildar Bandipora, DySP HQ besides officers and officials from R&B, Jal Shakti, Municipality, Youth Services and Sports, and other concerned departments.
