Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, on Saturday convened a meeting with concerned officers to review the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana in the district.

During the meeting, it was informed that a substantial number of applications have been received for installation of rooftops in the district.
Furthermore, five villages have been identified for the establishment of Model Solar Villages, which will be eligible for significant grants after assessment to facilitate their transition to sustainable energy solutions.
