Srinagar: National Conference leader Salman Sagar Wednesday expressed gratitude to former Chief Ministers Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti for the current challenges faced by the region. While addressing the issues, he said, “We are thankful to Mufti Muhammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti for the present mess.”
Sagar’s remarks come amidst growing discontent regarding policies attributed to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leadership during their tenure. He highlighted the enduring struggles faced by the public, stating, “Those who endured hardships for Late Mufti and Mehbooba will always be remembered.” Amid the criticism, Sagar assured support to open category students, stressing the unity among leaders in addressing their concerns. “All the legislators of Srinagar will support open category students. They will get justice,” he added.
