Jammu: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Friday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving special consideration to Jammu and Kashmir as the Union Cabinet approved 13 Kendriya Vidyalayas for the Union Territory.

“Thanks PM @narendramodi ji for giving special consideration to #JammuAndKashmir,” Dr Singh posted on X.

He further posted, “Union Cabinet approves 13 new #KendriyaVidyalayas for different locations across J&K, out of which over 50% fall in #Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency.”

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Kendriya Vidyalayas are approved for Gool and Ramban (District Ramban), Bani, Ramkot (District Kathua), Reasi, Kakrayal-Katra (District Reasi), Ratnipora, Galander-Chandhara (District Pulwama), Mughal Maidan (District Kishtwar), Gulpur (District Poonch), Drugmulla (District Kupwara), Vijaypur (District Samba) and Pancheri (District Udhampur).
