JAMMU: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Kumar Vaishya today visited Tehsil Office Nagrota to review its functioning and address public grievances.

The visit focussed on improving departmental services especially that of Revenue and Rural Development, with an emphasis on ensuring time bound delivery as mandated under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) guidelines.

The DC also reviewed land-related disputes, assuring residents of swift action to resolve their concerns in a fair and transparent manner. Tehsildar Nagrota Sumit Kohli, Block Medical Officer, police and other officers accompanied him during the visit.

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the importance of strict measures to tackle illegal mining and other illegal activities, directing officers to achieve measurable outcomes within stipulated timelines. He also called on the public to assist the administration by reporting such activities to ensure effective enforcement through public participation.
