Northern Command Army Commander reviews operational preparedness in Nagrota

Jammu: Northern Command Army Commander Lieutenant General M V Suchindra on Tuesday reviewed operational preparedness during his visit to the Nagrota based White Knight Corps here.

It further posted that the Army Commander exhorted all ranks to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and alertness in anti-terrorist operations.

“The #GOC emphasized the need for close #synergy among all stakeholders to eliminate remaining threats and commended their unwavering commitment to maintaining #peace and #security in the region,” it posted.

Search operation is being carried out in the remote belt of Kishtwar district after terrorists killed two Village Defence Guards (VDGs).

On November 10, one Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) was killed and three army jawans sustained injuries in a gunfight with terrorists that had abducted and killed two innocent villagers (Village Defence Guards) in Kishtwar.
