POONCH, NOVEMBER 10: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal, conducted a surprise visit to the Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital to evaluate its functioning and the quality of healthcare services provided to patients.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected different sections and wards, including the OPD, Labour Section, Operation Theatre, laboratories, X-Ray, and ECG sections, Free drugs Dispensary etc. He interacted with patients and their attendants to gather feedback about the medical care being provided.

He assessed overall cleanliness, medical facilities, presence of staff and the quality of healthcare services.

Emphasizing the importance of punctuality, Vikas Kundal exhorted upon the doctors and staff to be diligent in meeting patient needs and serve them with utmost dedication and sincerity.

The surprise visit of the DC aimed to ensure that the hospital is meeting the required standards and regulations for providing healthcare services to the community. The DC expressed satisfaction over the facilities and patient care provided by the hospital administration and staff.

Furthermore, he instructed the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital to assess the infrastructure needs for necessary improvements and recommend the same to the district administration.
