November 08:“Police in Pulwama, in collaboration with KCEF Law College Pulwama, held a practical & legal training session for police personnel. The event aimed to enhance the legal knowledge and procedural skills of law enforcement officers in line with recent updates in criminal laws.

The event was chaired by SSP Pulwama Smt. P. D. Nitya-IPS, accompanied by ASP Pulwama, DySP Headquarters Pulwama, DySP Kakapora, SDPO Litter, Sr. Prosecuting Officer Pulwama and other officers/officials of the district. Their active participation underscored the department’s commitment to maintaining a well-informed, legally adept police force.

 

From the college side, Faculty members Mr. Ajaz Ahmad and Mr. Rayees Ahmad delivered comprehensive lectures on modern criminal laws and procedural updates. Student speakers Shahid-ul-Islam, Zahoor Ahmad and Saqib Manzoor also enriched the session with insightful presentations, focusing on criminal procedures, evidence handling and recent changes in legal frameworks.

 

SSP Pulwama commended the college representatives and awarded certificates to the student speakers in appreciation of their contributions. This collaboration highlights the synergy between law enforcement and academia in promoting legal awareness and skill development among police personnel, ensuring that officers are well-prepared to navigate contemporary legal challenges.“`
