*November 08:* “`Police in Ganderbal have organized an Essay Writing Competition among the students, on the theme “How to Curb Radicalization or Role of Police in Modern India” at DPL Ganderbal in which students of different schools of the district participated.

The event was chaired by DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal Shri Nazir Ahmad. Senior Police officers were also present on the occasion. DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal in his address appreciated all the participants for taking part in the essay writing competition and further stated that the success and intelligence of the students shall enhance manifold by participating in such events.

 

He assured them for providing every kind of platform & support to boost in sports activities as well as channelizing their talents by exploring themselves with the academic success.

 

On the occasion, PROANG (Police Retired Officers Association Non- Gazetted) were the Chief Guests and rewarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders with mementos. Further, officers wished all the students good luck for their future endeavours. The event concluded with special vote of thanks from DySP DAR Ganderbal.“`
