SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 30:- In order to ensure smooth celebrations of Diwali- the festival of lights in Srinagar District, all necessary preparations and arrangements were finalized today l in a meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Khalid Hussain Malik today.

 

Besides, the senior Officers of Police and Civil Administration, the meeting was attended by representatives from Durga Nath Temple, Shankar Acharya Temple, Shivji Be- Ahtemam Wazir Satan Das, Ganpatyar Temple, Shri Maha Kaleshwar Mahadev Mandir and other concerned.

 

During the meeting, the ADC stressed on ensuring the uninterrupted provision of essential services, including electricity and water, health, and fire safety measures, besides proper traffic service s and management throughout the District during the festive period.

 

The meeting also emphasized on proper cleanliness and sanitation measures particularly around the temples in the City.
