SUPER 10 CRICKET TOURNAMENT

A Super 10 Cricket Tournament was organised by the Hamdard e Kupwara Battalion (41 RR) , aimed at promoting Sports, Team Spirit and Sportsmanship among the Kupwara’s youth. The tournament was organised from 22 Oct to 25 Oct 2024. A total of Eight Teams participated in the tournament. The tournament was played out on *Knock out* basis. The officials for the tournament were selected from the District Sports Department, Kupwara.

Final match of the tournament was played on 25 Oct 2024 between *Sadiq Memorial School & Rehmat Alam School*. A close encounter was witnessed between both the teams, which finally saw Rehmat Alam School lift the coveted trophy for the year 2024. Mr Adnan Malik & Mr Harish Sonawala were adjudged as the Man of the Match and Man of the Tournament respectively. The Army felicitated the winner and runners-up team during the prize distribution ceremony, with all the participating students being provided with a participation certificate. Overall the tournament was a huge success and provided the local youth to showcase their sporting talent.
