Karnah kupwara: Students of Government High School Chhamkot showcased their talents during the “Kala Utsav” program, receiving appreciation from the audience. The event, held at Government Boys High School Chhamkot, featured performances by school students that were highly praised by the attendees. The audience expressed great admiration for the performances presented by the students.
Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) of Tangdhar and Chhamkot, Rana Shah Mohammad, was the chief guest at the event. The program was also attended by the school’s headmaster, Khawaja Khalid Mahmood, young journalist Ashfaq Saeed, along with several teachers and students from various schools in the zone.
The program coordinator, Altaf Hussain, briefed the participants about the purpose of “Kala Utsav,” explaining that such events help in honing students’ skills and talents. In his speech, ZEO Tangdhar-Chhamkot, Rana Shah Mohammad, mentioned that the “Kala Utsav” was organized at the zonal level to bring out the potential of young students, encouraging them while providing a platform to showcase their abilities. He further added that organizing such programs also helps students develop an interest in their studies.
Headmaster of High School Chhamkot, Khalid Mahmood Khawaja, stated that the soil of Karnah is fertile, and the children here are making a name for themselves across the country due to their artistic talents. Programs like these, he noted, assist students in utilizing their skills to their full potential.
Journalist Ashfaq Saeed also encouraged the students. A teacher from the zone, Mushtaq Ahmed, addressed the students as well. At the end of the program, prizes were distributed among the students.
