*October 23:* “`In a joint initiative by Youth Development & Rehabilitation Centre (J&K Police) and Police Public School Bemina, an impactful awareness program on the theme “Mental Health at Workplace” was organized today for the teaching and non-teaching staff of Police Public School Bemina & Youth Development & Rehabilitation Centre. The event aimed to foster understanding and promote the importance of mental well-being in professional environments, especially within educational institutions.

The session was led by Dr. Mohammad Muzaffar Khan and other mental health counsellors including Ms. Rumeisa and Ms. Samina Farooq from the Youth Development and Rehabilitation Centre of J&K Police. They provided valuable insights into recognizing stress, managing workplace challenges, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The importance of mental health support, open communication, and self-care strategies was emphasized throughout the program.

The program received an overwhelming response from the staff, with interactive sessions and discussions that provided practical tools for managing mental health. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort by J&K Police and the school to promote well-being and a positive workplace culture.“`
