KULGAM, OCTOBER 23: Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Kulgam, M Afzal Parray today inspected the ongoing macadamization work at Main Town Kulgam.

Speaking with local residents, the DDC chairperson emphasized the critical importance of a well-developed road network for the prosperity and overall development of the region.

During the visit, the Chairperson was informed that an amount of Rs 76.15 lakh has been allotted for the macadamization of the road.

M Afzal Parray closely monitored the quality of materials being used and reiterated the need for strict adherence to guidelines by the executing agency, R&B, to ensure that the work is completed efficiently and within the stipulated time frame.

The Chairperson expressed his satisfaction with the progress made so far and assured the public that the development works will be completed as planned. He also met with locals at various points during his visit, listening to their concerns and reaffirming his commitment to the development and welfare of the district.
