Security officials revealed that the intruder attempted to sneak into Indian territory from across the border in the early hours. Vigilant troops intercepted and took him into custody.

“The intruder was arrested when he tried to cross the LoC in Mendhar sector,” an army official stated. “He is being questioned at a forward location to determine the motive behind his infiltration attempt.”

The arrest underscores the Indian Army’s unwavering vigilance and commitment to securing the nation’s borders. The ongoing interrogation aims to uncover potential links to terrorist organizations or other malicious intentions.

The LoC has witnessed numerous infiltration attempts in recent years, with security forces consistently thwarting such bids. This arrest serves as a testament to their dedication and alertness.

Details of the incident are still emerging, and further investigations are underway.
