Srinagar, September 19, 2024 – The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a core body meeting at the District office in Srinagar today in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at the iconic Sher-e-Kashmir Park. This rally is a pivotal moment in the party’s campaign strategy for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. It marks a significant step in bolstering the BJP’s presence and deepening its connection with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Prime Minister is expected to address key issues central to the region’s development, including initiatives on infrastructure, employment generation, tourism, and economic growth. His speech is set to reassure the people of Jammu and Kashmir about the government’s steadfast commitment to long-term prosperity, security, and stability. In preparation for the rally, BJP J&K Election In-Charge Ram Madhav, BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul, and Srinagar District President Ashok Bhat convened a meeting at the BJP District Office in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar.
Other prominent leaders in attendance included BJP J&K chairman BJP Menifesto Committee and former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, J&K Vice Election Campaign In-Charge Manish Sharma, former MLC Surinder Ambardar, National Spokesperson Shazia Ilmi, former MLC Charanjit Singh Khalsa, BJP Candidates, District Presidents and several other senior leaders.
As Jammu and Kashmir approaches this critical election season, Prime Minister Modi’s visit underscores the BJP’s determination to bring transformative progress to the region.
