Karnah: The last date for filing nomination papers for the final phase of voting was Thursday, and five candidates from Karnah submitted their nominations on the final day. Political activities in Karnah are in full swing as leaders strive to attract voters and engage in alliance-building tactics. Voting in this assembly constituency will take place in the final phase.
On the last day for filing nomination papers, five candidates submitted their nominations for the Karnah Assembly constituency, bringing the total number of candidates to 12. The Karnah Assembly constituency has a total of 58,080 voters, and this time, 12 candidates are testing their fate.
The candidates include Javid Mirchal, a former member of the Legislative Council from the National Conference, Raja Manzoor, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly from Apni Party, Naseer Ahmad Awan from the People’s Conference, Mohammad Idrees from the BJP, Sajid Ahmad Mir from the Bhim Sena Party, and Firdous Ahmad Mir from the PDP. Sajad Shah is contesting from the Samajwadi Party, while five independent candidates are also in the fray. They include Fayyaz Ahmad, Manzoor Ahmad Wani, Syed Idrees Shah, Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh, and Mohammad Shafiq Khan.
