KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 11: A Democracy Mini-Marathon themed “Matdan ma Bhagidari, Kishtwar Ki Zimmedari” was organized here today under ‘Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program
The winners were felicitated by District Election Officer (DEO), Rajesh Kumar Shavan and encouraged to spread community awareness about importance of casting vote on 18th Sep 2024- the Assembly Election polling day in District Kishtwar.
Earlier, District Nodal officer SVEEP/DIO Kuldeep Kumar in presence of Nodal Officer AC-50 Padder Nagseni Dr. Riaz-ul-Hacq and other officials flagged off the Democracy Mini -Marathon, comprising participants drawn from various schools, besides enthusiastic athletes.
The mini marathon started from DC Office Complex Kishtwar, passed through Zellna Police Check Point and reached Berwar Saffron Park on Kishtwar Paddar Road, and culminated back at DC Office Complex.
District Election Officer, Rajesh Kumar Shavan felicitated the 1st three winners in Boys and Girls category. Commandant 610 Adhoc ITBP Sanjay Kumar and Station House Officer were also present.
In the Boy’s category, Sahil won first place, Suraj Prakash ended up second and Sakasham Bhagat stood third.
In the girl’s category, Supriya Shan got first place, Radhika Gupta was first runner up and Poonam bagged third position.
