Appeals people to vote and use their power in the upcoming festival of Assembly election
SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER, 05: In an endeavor to promote and encourage greater electoral participation, the District Election Officer (DEO), Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today led a SVEEP awareness programme here at Borihallan, Heerpora organised by Nodal Officer, SVEEP.
The rally started from Borihallan village and culminated at Heerpora which saw enthusiastic participation from the public including tribal community members.
The objective of the SVEEP awareness programme was to inspire and motivate the voters of the area to exercise their franchise and use their power to choose their best representative to the Legislative Assembly.
DEO on the occasion called upon the public to participate in the upcoming Assembly Elections, scheduled for September 18 by exercising their franchise and encouraged youth to participate in SVEEP Reel Competition for greater awareness of voter participation
