RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 01: A series of informative and encouraging activities were held today under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative by the District Administration Ramban. Led by District Election Officer (DEO) Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, these activities aimed to enhance voter turnout in the upcoming General Elections to the Legislative Assembly 2024 in Assembly Constituencies AC-54 Ramban and AC-55 Banihal.
The SVEEP team, spearheaded by District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Kulbir Singh, engaged with students and villagers in Kenthi market and Government Higher Secondary School. The team focused on educating and motivating the community to ensure cent percent voter participation on September 18.
The team also provided detailed information on the c-Vigil mobile app, emphasizing its benefits and user-friendly features. The app allows citizens to report any violations of the Model Code of Conduct and electoral rules by sending videos, photos, or audio evidence.
To further expand their outreach, the SVEEP Publicity Van made its way through the Ramban bus stand, where the public was sensitized on the importance of voting. The team encouraged all eligible voters to not miss their chance to vote.
