Kupwara, 29 Aug (KB): Army on thursday claimed to have killed three terrorists in the on-going anti-terror operation in Tangdhar and Shamshu, in Kupwara.

In two separate operations, army said that three terrorists are likely to have been neutralised.

According to the Chinar Corps Army’s post on X wrote as per news agency Kashmir Bulletin reads, Based on intelligence inputs regarding likely infiltration bids, a Joint anti-infiltration Operation was launched by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice on the intervening night of 28-29 Aug 24 in general area Tangdhar, Kupwara. One terrorist is likely to have been neutralised.

The operation is in progress, it added.

In another separate post on X, Chinar Crops wrote, Based on intelligence inputs with respect to likely infiltration bids, a Joint Operation was launched by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice on the intervening night of 28-29 Aug 24 in general area Machhal, Kupwara.

It further reads, Suspicious movement was observed in bad weather and was engaged with effective firing by own troops; two terrorists are likely to have been neutralised.
