The drive, themed “Ek Ped Shaheedon ke Naam” is being carried out across the Kashmir valley to honour the police martyrs who have laid down their lives in the line of duty to protect the unity and integrity of the country. Officers from various ranks of the Kulgam police are actively participating in these events, upholding the commitment of District Police Kulgam to both environmental sustainability and the remembrance of our fallen heroes.

On the occasion, an interactive meeting was held with the families of martyrs reinforcing the commitment to commemorating the heroes by DM Kulgam and SSP Kulgam. During the meeting, families of martyrs raised various issues, which were listened patiently by the chairing Officers. Multiple issues were solved on spot; However, Officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances will be resolved with utmost priority. As a goodwill gesture, gifts/sweets were distributed among the families of martyrs.“`
