Pulwama Police Arrests 03 Notorious Drug Peddlers, Recovered Contraband Substance

Pulwama, Aug 03: In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, A police party of Police Station Pulwama Pulwama at a checkpoint established at Washpora Murran Pulwama, arrested a drug peddler identified as Manzoor Ahmad Dar S/0 Gh Nabi Dar R/0 Washpora Murran along with 02 bottles of contraband like substances . Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 135/2024 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Pulwama and investigation was initiated.

“Following Manzoor Ahmad Dar ‘s disclosure and the evidence surfaced during the investigation, police conducted raids at multiple locations, resulting in the recovery of a 66 bottles apparently containing codeine phosphate. Consequently, two more accused persons were arrested. They have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Mir S/0 Gh Nabi Mir and Liyaqat Nazir S/0 Nazir Ahmad Lone Residents of Murran .Further the investigation of the case has been entrusted to SIT.
