Accompanying the CEO were Mr. Narinder Suri, District Education Planning Officer, and Mr. Anwar Khan, Principal of Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian. The exhibition showcased 96 TLMs from teachers representing 43 schools in the cluster of Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian. The CEO meticulously visited each stall, offering commendations for the creativity and practicality of the models displayed.

In his address, Mr. Narinder Suri emphasized the importance of implementing these TLMs in real classroom settings to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement. He highlighted how such tools can bridge gaps in understanding and foster a more interactive learning environment.

Mr. Bishamber Dass, in his speech, lauded the efforts of the teachers in developing these innovative tools. He underlined the critical role of TLMs in making education more accessible and engaging for students. “The relevance and importance of Teaching Learning Materials cannot be overstated,” he said. “They are essential in creating an interactive and stimulating classroom environment, which is vital for effective learning.”

Twelve distinguished students from Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian, who excelled in their board exams, were awarded mementos by the CEO. This recognition served to motivate not only the awardees but also their peers, highlighting the importance of academic excellence.

Mr. Anwar Khan, the Principal who organized the event, expressed his gratitude to the chief guests and participants in his vote of thanks. He emphasized the necessity of low-cost and no-cost TLMs, especially in resource-constrained settings, stating, “These materials are the need of the hour. They ensure that quality education is not hindered by financial limitations.”

The proceedings of the program were conducted by Mr. Imran Khan, a dedicated teacher from the school. The event was also graced by the presence of Mr. Mohd Akram, Headmaster of High School Chamber, Mr. Mohd Khurshid, Headmaster of High School Gagrian, and Mr. Vijay Verma, Zonal Education Planning Officer, Poonch.
