Heatwave likely to persist in J&K for next 48 hrs: Weatherman

Temperatures are expected to stay 3 to 6°C above normal in Kashmir during the next 48 hrs, while in Jammu region, temperatures are expected to stay 2 – 4°C above normal, especially during the next 24 hrs.

Weather activities during the late night/early morning are expected to increase in Jammu region from today onwards.

In Kashmir region, in a few spots, a short thundershower is possible during the next 48 hrs.
From Tuesday onwards such activities will pick up and temperature will show a declining trend from Tuesday/Wednesday onwards.
