Srinagar, July 19 :- To honour the soldiers who lost their lives, Indian Oil flags off ride with pride

As per the details available with News Agency Kashmir Scroll, All-Women Motorbike Expedition 2024 to the Siachen Base Camp was flagged off by Sh. Anant Kumar Singh (.P.S.) CVO Indian Oil in presence of Sh. Jitendra Kumar, Executive Director & State Head, Indian Oil, Punjab State Office at Indian Oil Retail Outlet M/s Sadabahar Filling Station, Nowgam Bypass, Srinagar on Friday.

The expedition, titled “Ride with Pride: Honouring Our Bravehearts is a project of Shakti Udghosh Foundation, Jammu an organization dedicated to empowering women through various initiatives.


Expedition is fuelled by XP-95: 95 Octane Premium Petrol of Indian Oil. This expedition aims not only to showcase the courage and resilience of women but also to pay homage to the indomitable spirit of our brave soldiers stationed at Siachen and Kargil.

During the expedition 15 female bikers will travel more than 1800 kms with the aim to honour the brave soldiers stationed at the Siachen Glacier, the world’s highest battlefield, and to promote the spirit of adventure among women.

This journey celebrates the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces while highlighting the resilience and determination of female motorcyclists.

During the event, Sh. Anant Kumar Singh interacted with the bikers and emphasised that this expedition aligns perfectly with Indian Oil’s core value “Nation First” and commitment to sustainable development and community welfare.

In particular, the expedition highlights Indian Oil’s product XP95, which has demonstrated significant contributions to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in terms of promoting cleaner energy and environmental sustainability.

During this occasion, while further briefing, Sh. Jitendra Kumar apprised the gathering that this expedition would be allowing Indian Oil to showcase XP-95 as a fuel that supports both high-performance and sustainability a message that resonates strongly with today’s environmentally conscious consumers.(KS)
