In the last five years, Bharat has achieved unprecedented success on the path to realizing PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of a drug-free nation through major reforms and a whole-of-government offensive. The agencies today resolved to bolster this battle with a ruthless approach to drug supply chains, a strategic approach to demand reduction, and a humane approach to harm reduction.
At the 7th Apex Level Meeting of NCORD today, launched MANAS, a national helpline of the NCB that will help citizens share information about drugs and narcotics with the agencies.
Also inaugurated the Zonal Office of the Narcotics Control Bureau at Srinagar in J&K. The state-of-the-art office will facilitate the bureau’s operations against drugs with the robust power of technology and logistics in the valley.
