July 08:The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)’s 179 BN on Monday organised yet another free medical camp for the awaan in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.

As per press release, rousing welcome was given to the Commandant Officer 179 CRPF and his men as President Awqaaf Committee Sopore Mr Javaid Ahamd And other members and other important dignitaries of the area.

Locals thanked 179 CRPF for their continuous endeavor towards People and hoped such camps will be held in future as well.

Local Populace thanked the CRPF 179 BN as they hailed their efforts as regular medical medical camps are being held across various peripheries of Sopore Jurisdiction.

Pertinently, It was 6th such free medical camp under Civic Action Programme was organized by 179BN CRPF which held at Islamia School Shahabad Sopore D in which Doctors of CRPF and SDH doctors provided free Medical Checkup and Consultations to needy poor people.

On the occasion free medicines were also distributed to the locals of the nearby areas.

The programme was organized under the aegis of Sh.V K Choudhary Commandant-179 Bn CRPF in presence of Sh.CMO 179 Dr Pravin Ranjan, 2-1/C,Shri Mange Ram Sharma,AC BH P Sharma,AC Bhagat Rawat, and other officers of civil administration,Police and 179 Bn CRPF Unit.

The main objective of organizing the free medical camp under Civic Action Programme was to provide free medical checkup, consultation by well experienced Doctors to needy poor people, especially to women, children and immune compromised people of the area who are not able to see the doctors frequently, due to remote location of villages or other financial issues. While addressing to the beneficiaries & the visitors, Shri.V K Choudhary Commandant 179 Crpf.
