RAJOURI, JUNE 29: A one-day training session on the newly revamped Civil Registration System (CRS) Portal was today organised for Data Entry Operators here under the supervision of District Statistics and Evaluation Officer (DSEO) Sandeep Sharma. The DEOs from block development offices, municipal offices and private/government hospitals attended the session aimed to familiarize participants with the updated features and functionalities of the portal, ensuring efficient and accurate civil registration processes.
The DSEO highlighted that reporting of Birth and Death events on the newly revamped Civil Registration System (CRS) Portal within 21 days is now mandatory for all Government and Private Hospitals. Additionally, the process of manually seeking files has been dispensed with, streamlining the entire registration procedure in online mode. Hands-on demonstrations and interactive segments allowed attendees to engage directly with the new system.
The DSEO also emphasized the importance of the updated portal in enhancing service delivery and ensuring timely registration of vital events in District, Rajouri.
The training was also attended by Toseef Ahmed, Statistical Officer, Sadiq Hussain, Statistical Officer, Mohammad Yousaf Statistical Officer,Mohd Zaffar , Statistical Officer, Geeta Devi, Statistical Officer and other staff members of District Statistics & Evaluation Office, Rajouri.
