During her previous visit to these areas, Smt. Rouble Nagi was deeply moved by the financial challenges faced by the women. Motivated by their stories and determination, she took decisive action to establish skill centres equipped with machinery and essential materials necessary for vocational training. These centres are designed to impart skills that will enable the women to achieve financial independence and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Rouble Nagi expressed her commitment to supporting women’s empowerment through practical initiatives that address real-life challenges. She emphasized the importance of skill development in unlocking potential and creating sustainable livelihoods, stating, “Every woman deserves the opportunity to learn and earn. These skill centres are not just about training; they are about transforming lives and fostering economic resilience.”

The inauguration ceremonies were attended by the community members, and beneficiaries who expressed gratitude for the initiative. They hailed Smt. Rouble Nagi’s efforts as a testament to her dedication to social causes and her unwavering support for women’s empowerment in rural areas.

The skill centres will offer training in various vocational fields, equipping women with skills in tailoring, handicrafts, and other income-generating activities tailored to local needs. This initiative aligns with the broader mission of the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation to uplift underprivileged communities through art, education, and sustainable development.

As these centres begin operations, they are expected to positively impact the socio-economic landscape of North kashmir villages, empowering women to become agents of change within their communities.
