Police seizes 04 vehicles involved in illegal mining in Baramulla

June 23: Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Kunzer Baramulla, Police seized 04 vehicles and arrested 03 drivers.

A Police party under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg assisted by SHO PS Kunzer seized 04 vehicles (01 Tipper & 03 Tractors) & arrested 03 drivers identified as Aijaz Ahmad Bhat son of Ab Ahad resident of Batpora, Bilal Ahmad son of Mohd Ramzan resident of Karhama & Gh Mohd son of Gh Mohiuddin resident of Kawoosa.

They were found involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals and accordingly a case FIR under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Kunzer and investigation has been initiated.
