Director Health Services, Kashmir, Visits Pahalgam, Nunwan, and Chandanwari Hospitals to Review Yatra Preparations

Pahalgam, June 2, 2024 Director of Health Services, Kashmir, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, today conducted visits to Pahalgam Hospital, Nunwan Hospital, and Chandanwari Hospital. He was accompanied by Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Sofi, Medical Superintendent of Pahalgam Hospital and Officer for the Yatra, along with other health officials.

During these visits, the Director inspected the hospitals and reviewed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Yatra. He assessed the current status of facilities being established for the Yatris and emphasized the timely execution of ongoing works to ensure the completion of necessary infrastructure before the commencement of the Yatra.

The Director interacted with hospital staff and the teams responsible for setting up these facilities, urging them to expedite their efforts to provide comprehensive healthcare services for the Yatris. He held a meeting with local medical staff, directing them to ensure that the best possible healthcare arrangements are in place well before the start of the pilgrimage.

The Department of Health Services, Kashmir, is committed to making thorough healthcare arrangements for the Yatris along both the Pahalgam and Baltal routes of the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. These efforts aim to ensure that Yatris have access to top-notch medical care throughout their pilgrimage.
