GVEI hosts block level student innovation showcase meet
Srinagar, May 30:
Green Valley Educational Institute on Thursday organised a block level student innovation showcase meet in its state-of-the-art Atal Tinkering Laboratory.
Chief Education Officer (CEO) Srinagar Abdul Hamid Fani was the Chief guest at the occasion.
“The event provided a unique platform for students to display their technical innovations and research capabilities,” the school handout reads.
During the event, students presented a variety of innovative prototypes, including a smart Koshur water bottle heater case, a human assistance device, an entrance handle disinfectant, a farm bot, a cloth folding machine, a CO2 recycling machine, a snow roof clearance device, a smart rain cover for two-wheelers, and a 3D-printed humanoid.
“All these projects demonstrated the students’ ingenuity and problem-solving skills,” it reads.
The students from Boys Higher Secondary Soura, Higher Secondary Gulab Bagh, Galaxy Public School, Girls Higher Secondary Soura, and RP School Malla Bagh also participated in the event.
The visiting students interacted with the exhibitors, fostering a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere.
“The event developed an inclination towards innovation and creativity among the students. The showcase not only highlighted the talents of the students but also underscored the importance of practical learning in today’s educational landscape,” the handout reads.
Principal GVEI M D Zargar delivered his vote of thanks at the occasion.
He expressed his gratitude to CEO Srinagar, Abdul Hamid Fani for his support and encouragement and commended the students for their exceptional work and dedication.
Chairman GVEI Mohammad Yousuf Wani said that the institute is committed to nurture young minds and promote an environment of continuous learning and innovation. “The institute looks forward to organise more such events in future to enhance the skills and creativity of the students,” Wani said.
