Sopore Police has booked three notorious Drug Smugglers

Sopore Police has booked three notorious Drug Smugglers under the PIT-NDPS Act and one OGW under PSA after receiving a formal detention order from the competent authority.

Sopore, May 23: Sopore Police has booked three Drug Smugglers and one L eT OGW namely 1. Barkat Ahmad Dar S/O Abdul Ahad Dar R/O Shair Colony Sopore 2. Umar Bashir Zargar S/O Bashir Ahmad Zargar R/O Behrampora Rafiabad and 3. Musaib Bashir Lone S/O Bashir Ahmad Lone R/O Wadoora Payeen Sopore under PIT-NDPS and PSA. They have been taken into custody and are now being held in the Central Jail Kot-Balwal, Jammu.

It is important to note that many cases have been registered against these Drug Smugglers and they were still involved in Drug Abuse Trade by supplying Drugs to the local youth of the Police District Sopore and other areas of the District.

The general public of Sopore appreciated the role played by the Sopore Police in taking action against Drug Smugglers. Sopore Police is committed to take strict actions against such criminals as per the law.
