BANDIPORA, MAY 14: The District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman along with SSP Lakshay Sharma on Tuesday flagged-off a march as part of awareness activities under ongoing Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative.
The march, organized in collaboration with the Education and Police Department, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voter education and participation in the electoral process.
The march commenced from Mantrigam and culminated at District Police Lines, Bandipora.
On the occasion, DEO emphasized the significance of active participation in shaping the democratic fabric and highlighted the role of SVEEP initiatives in fostering informed and empowered voters.
Participants including youth volunteers, police personnel and officials from the district administration joined the march with enthusiasm, showing their commitment to civic engagement.
