RAMBAN, MAY 14: The District Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) Ramban discussed relief measures for disaster-affected families here at its meeting chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Roshan Lal.
of 46 claims, 29 relief cases were approved in favor of affected families in accordance with SDRF (State Disaster Response Fund) norms. The rest 17 cases were put for re-verification. The meeting, attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, S. Harpal Singh, along with other key officials including CAHO, DSHO, District Treasury Officer and Tehsildars, deliberated on cases ranging from fire incidents to natural calamities like landslides, hailstorms, windstorms, floods, cloudburst, and others.
Emphasizing prompt action, the ADDC directed officials to sensitize field staff on SDRF relief norms to ensure accurate and timely processing of relief cases.
Highlighting the priorities of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary, the ADDC urged revenue and other concerned officers to expedite all pending cases pertaining to their departments, facilitating early disbursement of relief to affected individuals as admissible under SDRF norms.
