The RSBVP 2023-24 witnessed a groundbreaking seminar on “Millets for Health and Sustainable Planet” alongside a captivating Project Model Exhibition themed “Science and Technology for Society” at the zonal level competition.

The event, held under the eminent patronage
and the mentorship of M. A. Wani ZEO DANGERPORA hosted at HIGH SCHOOL SEELOO, DANGERPORA, showcased the dedication, creativity, and commitment of young minds towards shaping a healthier, more sustainable future.

The seminar delved deep into the pivotal role of millets in promoting both personal wellness and environmental sustainability.

Speakers highlighted the nutritional richness, ecological benefits, and cultural significance of millets, emphasizing their potential to address pressing global challenges such as malnutrition and climate change.

Participants engaged in lively discussions, exchanging insights and exploring innovative approaches to integrate millets into modern diets and agricultural practices.

In the Project Model Exhibition, young innovators brought their visionary ideas to life, showcasing a diverse range of projects aimed at addressing societal issues through science and technology.

The culmination of the event saw the recognition of outstanding achievers. The first three position holders in the seminar were:

.HIMAYUN SHAHNAZ, Ahmad Memorial Highfield Scientific School, first position,Shabnum Yousuf HS Tujar, second position
,Maryam Maqbool, HS Seeloo , third position.

In the Project Model Exhibition, the students selected under 4 different sub themes are:

1.Wamiq Hussain Mir and Uzair Nabi, HS S Dangerpora, under theme Communication and Transport
2.INSHA YOUNUS, HS Seeloo, under the theme Lifestyle for Environment.
3.Mohd Owaid and Afaq Hussain, Ahmed Memorial Highfield Scientific School Dangerpora under the theme Agriculture.
4.Adfar and Fatima , HS SAGIPORA, under the theme Health.
These exceptional individuals were honored and felicitated by esteemed ZEO DANGERPORA and Headmistress Mtr. Khalida Ji. The Chief Guest, ZEO Dangerpora M. A. Wani, lauded their dedication and ingenuity. The Guest of Honor Headmistress HS Seeloo Mtr. Khalida Ji , commended all participants for their contributions to advancing scientific knowledge and societal well-being. The officers presented and awarded the participants with certificates of achievement and participation.

Looking ahead, the position holders will proudly represent Zone Dangerpora at the district level of the Rajya Stariya Baal Vaigyanik Pradarshini 2023-24. Their exemplary work and passion for innovation promise to make a significant impact at the district level competition, driving positive change and inspiring others to follow suit.

Acknowledgement is extended to the esteemed jury members whose expertise and discernment enriched the evaluation process. Four jury members each meticulously evaluated the seminar and project exhibits, ensuring fairness and integrity in the assessment process. Their guidance and insights enriched the experience for participants, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Behind the scenes, the success of the event was made possible by the dedication and support of Talented ZONAL TEAM Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Lone (ZCC)Khursheed Mehmood Reshi (RP), Syed Raashid (ZNO), Mr.Showkat Ahmad Ganaie (ZNO) , Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Lone ( ZNO), Mr. Ubaid Hussain Wani (ZNO), committed ministerial staff at the Zonal Education Office Dangerpora and the dignified faculty at HS SEELOO.

As the curtains close on the zonal level competition, the spirit of innovation and advocacy ignited by the seminar and Project Model Exhibition continues to resonate. With a shared commitment to sustainability and societal progress, these young visionaries are poised to shape a brighter future for generations to come.
